What makes RISE Day Camp unique?

At RISE, we blend hands-on learning with boundless fun, emphasizing leadership, curiosity, and resilience. Every camper embarks on a hero’s journey, exploring both the world and themselves through indoor and outdoor play and activities.

What age group is RISE Day Camp designed for?

All RISE Day Camp sessions are available to children aged 5 to 11 years old.

Do you separate kids by age groups?

Our heroes are not separated by age groups. We intentionally keep all age groups together to promote peer-to-peer mentorship, leadership, and enhanced social-emotional development.  This format fosters a tight-knit community where all kids collaborate closely, engage in multi-age discussions, and problem-solving exercises, broadening perspectives and developing empathy for others.

What activities will my child engage in?

From STEM challenges and art projects to leadership building activities and global explorations, every day presents a new adventure. We blend indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring a balanced experience and lots of active play!

What does a typical day look like at Rise Day Camp?

Our days are packed with excitement! Activities include:

• Morning rally and activity around the day’s theme

• Rotations between creative pursuits, STEM ventures, global exploration, and leadership & character building activities.

• Active play sessions both indoors and outdoors.

• Group reflections to wind down the day.

What is your staff-to-child ratio?

We maintain a low staff-to-child ratio, ensuring personal attention to each child. For every 10 children, there’s a dedicated team member. Our team members are called mentors.

How qualified is the staff?

Each member of our team is CPR/first aid certified, undergo 3 full days of training, and complete a full background check prior to the start of camp. 

Getting Started

How do I register my child?

Simply click on the ‘Register Now’ button on our website. Follow the on-screen instructions to create your account, add each child to your profile, and secure a spot for your young hero in no time! Should you have any issues, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to assist you.  

Can I register for specific weeks or days?

You can choose the specific weeks you need camp, but we do not offer daily options.

Daily Logistics

What are the camp hours?

Our action-packed days start at 8:30 am and conclude at 5:30 pm. 

What should my child bring daily?

A packed lunch and two snacks, refillable water bottle, sunblock, hat, change of clothes (in case the fun gets messy!) and any personal medications. All belongings should be labeled with your child’s name.  We do not have the ability to refrigerate or heat your child’s lunch or snacks, so please plan and pack their food accordingly. 

Parents should apply sunscreen before campers arrive at camp in the morning, as staff will not be able to apply sunscreen to campers upon request. Additional sunscreen will be made available throughout the day, but campers will need to apply their own sunscreen.

Are meals provided?

At this time, RISE does not provide meals. Please pack a healthy non-perishable lunch, healthy snacks, and a water bottle for your child each day.  Please note, we do not have the capacity to heat or refrigerate lunch or snack items, please plan accordingly. 

We will provide water refilling stations for the kids, so bringing a refillable water bottle is highly recommended.

RISE has a no-candy policy, please leave sweet treats at home as we try to encourage healthy eating. 

Safety and Health

How do you handle allergies or medical needs?

Inform us about any allergies or medical needs during registration, our staff will ensure all allergy precautions are made, and administer any required medications for your child. All medications need to be given to our staff at the start of camp, children cannot hold their medications. You can view more details on our safety and health policies in our Day Camp Handbook

Financials and Discounts

Do you offer discounts?

We offer multiple discounts – from sibling and referral discounts to loyalty programs. Subscribe to our newsletter to get updates on specials and discounts! 

What’s your cancellation policy?

The purpose of our Refund Policy is to allow RISE Day Camp to maintain high quality programs and proper camp ratios while maintaining as much flexibility for parents and campers as we can. All requests are subject to director approval and take 3-5 working days for approval.

• Refund requests made:
  • More than 45 days before the start date of the camp week: 100% credit or refund minus any deposit or vendor fees.
  • Up to 30 days before the start date of the camp week: 50% credit or refund minus any deposit or vendor fees.
  • Less than 30 days before the start date of the camp week: no refunds or credits will be given for cancellations (medical/special circumstances at the branch’s discretion).
• Camp deposits are non-refundable.
• All payments are automated on a designated schedule outlined at time of registration. Balances are due 7 Days before the start day of camp. Unpaid balances will result in a deletion from the program (and loss of deposit) to open space for other registrations. Campers may re-register and pay in full for the camp from which they were deleted.
• All credits must be used within the same calendar year.
